I have recently arrived and currently living in the Canaillas de Albaida area. 

My most recent position in Scotland was a Funeral Arranger for Coop Funeralcare where I ran the Perth office, mostly lone working. Here I set up funerals, funeral plans, appointments for clients, processing invoices for payment and setting up and sending out invoices to clients.

Before this I worked for Aviva in their call centre in Perth for a year dealing with home insurance for clients all over the country.

The position I held before this was a Support for learning assistant in a local high school assisting children with additional needs, I did this position for 15 years in Perth and also in Folkestone in Kent.

I am very adaptable and hard working.

Base manager Overseeing Process improvement,implementation of new business strategy and growth business model for flight training academy. recruitment, ops, staff recruitment, maintenance, marketing and new and existing contract management. managing all staff and Aircraft. Assist in ensuring that all areas of the Academy meet Key Performance Indicators. Ensure the facility is managed in accordance with local and national regulations, standards and operational protocols and ensure that the Academy maintains compliance with all aspects of domestic regulatory and legislative requirements. Ensuring thorough maintenance of facilities and resources. Ensuring Health & Safety compliance. People Management Management of customer service and cadet welfare staff, including annual performance planning and review and day to day performance management. 

My skills are transferable to all industries since I oversee all area of business Development and improvement.

I have 2 kids and now need work urgently I really hope someone can help me find a position.

Hi I'm new on the forum.

I see that this was covered over a year ago but we are looking at Velez Malaga to buy a property. The draws of Velez is light on tourism, flat, all amenities close by and close to the coast.

Not knowing the town that well I would like some guidance on good and bad areas. I note Paul's advice last year so I think old town is not for us. Perhaps if you're still on Paul does Cruz Cordero, Cruz Verde or Los Oivos fit the bill below ?

We have lived permanently in Spain now for 5 years so we are pretty used to the Spanish culture and speak a bit of the language. We like having Spanish neighbours. So basically what we need:

Our budget is E120,000 maybe a little bit more for the one with wow factor.

We have 3 dogs so a house with a bit of outside space preferably ground floor rather than roof terrace. A house all on one level would be ideal but I guess if we had to compromise with 1 further floor upstairs that would be ok.

A relatively peaceful spot with good car access/ parking and close enough to shops and restaurants by bus for later on in life. Somewhere on the flat and near to open areas where we can let the dogs have a run.

We are going to spend sometime in Velez in the next couple of weeks so where is the best place to park and go and explore the town and suggested neighbourhoods.

Hi to all residents of Velez-malaga and surrounding areas. Can you tell me if you have been pestered with a lot of mossies, flying insects etc., this summer. I read that 2018 was particularly bad for tiger mosquitoes. 

Also having read that Almeria has a lot of problems with flies, because of pig farms, agriculture etc., I just wondered if Velez - malaga had any problems like this.
