Can anyone please recommend someone to hang a large heavy mirror in the Lake Vinuela area

Hi all. hope you are all enjoying the new phases?

We were looking in and around Velez-Malaga towards the back end of last year and had an offer on our house in the UK this January....Then the lockdown started!

Both the house sale and the looking stalled.

Anyway we are please to say that the sale has now gone through and we are in-between properties. I was wondering if anyone knows either of a friend that has a home to rent or any "decent" agents in the area to do the searching for us? I know it is always best to be there as you can pick up the best houses by word of mouth.

We are looking from September for 6-8 months initially.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I am thinking of moving to Velez, I live in Malaga at present. I am Dutch. 

I have my eyes on a property, but I hear now from different sides that Velez is not a very safe place to live , and to be careful in certain areas.  Can you give me some advise in this matter, it worries me a  bit. Thank you. Patty.

Due to the Corona situation, our plans have changed. We now need to find a lock-up (rental) to store both our furniture and our business products until we have found the right location and unit.

Wanting to know if the following is usual Spanish insurer procedure in Spain:

Vehicle insurance due soon, no documents received. Chased them, was advised no renewal offer pack is issued, the premium is as noted on the last documents issued, i.e. NIL change in premium since last year. Once paid (automatically from Bank) they will issue new year's docs

Seems very odd, compared to UK where invariably the premium changes & a renewal offer is issued comparing last year to this

Does anybody know if binoculars can be repaired and where locally can we find someone to do it.

Hi all, me and my wife & maybe Kids "grown up" have long been considering a move to Costa del sol to escape the Rat race here in the UK, We know the malaga region very well but i have just stumbled across your lovely town Velez Malaga,Never been but looks lovely and seems a good place to buy, I am quite familiar to Nerja and surrounding areas ,My question would be,What is it like for an Expat to live in Velez Malaga ?, Is there a large expat community ?,Does the town stay as a all year round community ,Any tips !!!, We are a long way off taking the plunge yet but definately in our plans for the next 18 months ,Obviuosly keeping an close eye on BREXIT !!

I there anyone in the Vélez malaga área who can teach oil and watercolour to a couple if ladies. One of us is already a pretty good painter and  other a beginner of two years with a Spanish class.
