Hi to all residents of Velez-malaga and surrounding areas. Can you tell me if you have been pestered with a lot of mossies, flying insects etc., this summer. I read that 2018 was particularly bad for tiger mosquitoes.
Also having read that Almeria has a lot of problems with flies, because of pig farms, agriculture etc., I just wondered if Velez - malaga had any problems like this.

Hi there,
I live in the south of Velez and we have no problem at all with mosquitos or flies. I do have fly screens on my windows, but we do not get pestered when we are in our patio or on the roof. This seems to be very localised though, as friends who live in the north of the town have said that they do get mossies. I suppose you get them if you live near the river or standing water.
