Can anyone please advise on the best place (apart from Estate Agents) to find long term rental properties in the town of Antequera?

Hi Ed

Have you had a look at Mil Anuncios? It is a Spanish site, but easy enough to navigate if you use Google Translate or DeepL, assuming you don't speak or read Spanish yet.

This is the link for properties in Antequera: https://www.milanuncios.com/alquiler-de-viviendas-en-antequera-malaga/?fromSearch=1

You could register and then put your own advert under 'Demanda Solo'.

The other one to check is Kyero.com or thinkspain.com both of these are in English.

Good luck.

Shelley

Thanks Shelly.  Those are very good ideas. We do speak Spanish so we’ll act on them all.  Thanks again. Ed

I don't know your area specifically but if you speak a little Spanish (even if you don't) the best way is to talk to locals.  Find a local pub and/or restaurant.  I know of several people who only find accommodation this way.

In Spain there is always a price for a foreigner and a price for locals so if you can hook into the local market directly, as opposed to a website geared to foreigners, then you may find yourself a good deal.

Good luck.
