Hi all I am hoping to relocate to Saydo Park in the near future, but unfortunately I cannot see it happening before Brexit, may I ask if any of you guys who have already relocated have any idea what may be needed after January the 1st, do you think it's going to be very hard for me to relocate, and has anybody got any ideas what I will need and what paperwork I will need. Thanks Graham.

Hi Graham,

suggest you contact Mollina Town Hall and ask to speak to Miriam, sure she will be able to advise.

Good Luck

Al

For residency requirements you would be best to ask cab Spain. Unfortunately the townhall can't help you with this.

It's just citizens advice bureau Spain. Easy googled. They answer questions for a small donation or have loads of free information and links in their webpage. Very helpful when you first come over. Unfortunately as it's a new situation no-one can really help apart from experts. Hope you get over soon 😀

I'm in a similar position. I took part in a place in the sun online webinar last month. There was a lawyer called Alex Radford from ? lawyers for you who said as long as you had started the process before dec 31st with a lawyer then you have until the end of June 2021 to fully complete under present rules. Might be worth speaking to a lawyer about this and getting the ball rolling.

Graham, all of the other advice is sound but just to be more specific Mirriam in Mollina Town Hall is appointed by the Mayor to look after ex-pats and she is there to guide and help you and anyone like you, as you are moving to that area make her your first contact

She speaks very good English and will register you with all of the contacts you may need or entitled too.

p.s. and it does not cost you anything.
