There is an animal charity in Antequera called Arca del Torcal, phone +34 637 17 60 58. Try them and see if they have any. They are generally always looking for families to adopt their animals. There's also Triple A in Ojen. Last time I was there a couple of years ago, they had about 300 dog...

Foned Arca today, but I could only find 4 dogs on their facebook page. Will check their Instagram later. Could be more dogs to be rehomed listed there.

Contacted Adana today. Weekend closure meant before was not possible. There is a dog called Eve, in the pound for 8 years. They do allow adoption from one province to another. Thanks for your help. Regards. Beulah
Oh............. a dog called Eve in the pound for 8 years waiting for a mama to take her home. I could have cried. I am praying for a happy ending for this poor doggy and that you will take her home!

Hi Angela.
Got a response via Facebook messenger..no name of the person included. They wanted to know who Angela is.I could only report your forum membership and, of course, that we do not give out surnames. Then there were more questions about why I am not working right now, why I havnt yet set up a clinic, and my domestic and personal circumstances, all of which I duly answered, but unfortunately they have not been polite enough to respond further. I will thus be pursuing the adoption matter,with other rescue centres who have shown courtesy, and politeness.

Finally, once travel restrictions were lifted, Ali, a beautiful Mastin arrived in Cordoba from Velez Malaga on 21.12.2020
She loves her walks in the olive groves, and is very happy here in the countryside near Priego. She is a gorgeous and special girl.
