Folks,

Senior couple (70+) plan on 1-2 weeks in Malaga in February. Looking for neighborhood suggestions in Malaga to search for apt. or hotel room with kitchen. No car, no Spanish (yet). No need for nightlife nor sunbathing or swimming. Prefer walking access to Malaga Centro for sites, shopping and restaurants from just outside Centro area to avoid noise, crowds,etc in Centro.Some websites suggest La Malagueta, while others say avoid it. Perhaps along the edges of Malaga Centro?? Any thoughts, please? Thanks!!

Hello. I'm new to the forum. I am looking at buying in Spain and visiting as often as possible. I'm thinking of buying a Spanish registered car, leaving it at the airport(Luxu parking) and picking it up on each trip. Is there an agent/cy or similar who would handle the insurance/MOT equivalent/road tax equivalent because my Spanish is very poor at the moment?

I assume I would need to use a Spanish ins. company?

A lot of questions there but a newbie has to start somewhere!

Hi, I am coming to Andalusia in January for 3 months and hopefully much longer if it works out (I have sorted out a non-lucrative visa).I will base myself in and around one of the major towns i.e. Estepona, Marbella, Malaga, Nerja, Murcia. Does anyone know of the following: a health club like David Lloyd in the UK, with gym, pool, sauna, steam and tennis; jive/rock and roll events and tuition; spanish language tuition or groups of Brits that meet to practice their Spanish.

Anything else I should consider or know.

Missing Person "Lizzie" Elizabeth Shepherd. she left our group on the 11th of October 2023 late at night to go to the airport but also mentioned getting a hotel. lest were heard she said "i'm just waiting for my taxi". The next day and we can't get hold of her. she is 5"6 ish and has a tan and a very yorkshire accent.

My son Lenny Hansen is missing .Please if someone have seen him contact me!!! Last time i talked to him spend his time in a square in Malaga.
