Hola everyone in malaga,

I would like to relocate to Malaga as soon as possible by the above route but I'm having trouble contacting the London office to apply. They sent me all the documents by email (7) in Spainish. Has anyone else relocated to Spain by using the non-lucrative visa?

I would very much like to hear from anyone who can offer advice.

Hope this works How to apply for a Non-Lucrative visa (NLV).    If not go into the menu page (click on top left of front page.) scroll down to tips and guides and it’s on page 3.

Hi Pamela,

I relocated 3 years ago and just used a local solicitor to handle the whole application as I was commuting between the UK and Spain.. It was quick, efficient and painless. I do recommend them very highly as they handled my house purchase and set up bank accounts as well. The people also speak very good English.

Hi Pamela19

We relocated to Torremolinos in Feb and used a solicitor.  I have to say there is no way in the world I could have done it without them

The process was really hard to get your head round and it does not make any sense at all.  Even now, it does not make sense, but thats Spain as people keep saying.  They will set up appointments and everything for you and tell exactly what you need to do and when to do it.

I recommend Melanie Radford and her email is [email protected]

Hope that helps

I believe the Spanish consulates in the UK are on indefinite strike so this is going to hold up all NLV applications. 😕

Hi Hooch,

Thank you very much for the information.

When did you relocate? was it before Brexit or after?

Can you give me a ballpark figure of the all the costs.

Hi AliCee,

Thank you for the information.

I should imagine I will arrive in Spain sometime next year!
