Hi I’m 57 and my husband died suddenly and unexpectedly last month. My heart is shattered into a million pieces. I have migraine and the heat helps so I want to move to Estepona next year. I know it’s too soon this year to make life altering decisions.

My question is basically is it still possible after Brexit and if it is how much harder is it going to be to get residency. 

I know I have lots to learn about moving eg health insurance, property prices and how much you need per month to live on but I wanted to know if it was still possible to move here.

I am with a vet and read I could just pay for my microchips to be registered with Spain via the vet.   Then I need to register at the town hall.   The vet is stating that I will need to provide documentation to the Spanish government.  Can anyone give me any guidance.   Thanks

We are looking to buy a holiday home in Estepona in the next year or two, to spend up to 6 months per year in Spain. I would be grateful for any advice. We would be interested in a property,

• Within a 20-minute walking distance to the beach. 
• Walking distance to amenities. (Shops, restaurants etc)
• Apartment, Townhouse, with solarium or sun terrace/balcony.
• What is the average cost of living? E.g. Electricity, council tax, etc.
• Are there any specific areas we should look at below 100,000 euros? Do they exist?

I’m looking at buying in the Estepona area. La duquesa and manvilla have some really nice apartments however I’ve heard that these areas are quite rough. Has anyone got any information that would help.

The ever evolving tangle of entry requirements!

I am arriving in Spain on 11th July and I am 'double jabbed' so I believe I do not need a PCR to get in - only the PLF form. I am asking what the airport team are taking as proof for the vaccination. I have downloaded the NHS app and I have been able to create a PDF of the proof of double vaccination, which includes a QR code - I am assuming that this is your COVID passport to get into Spain? Interested to hear from anyone that has come into Malaga in the last few days?
