Hi Guys .      Not sure where to post this question ,so I will leave it here ?

How many times a year can a person visit Spain with out a NLV 90 in/out rule ,I fully understand this rule .

However I cannot find on Spaintravel or UK.gov site and more info on shorter visit, and most web site still talk about Covid travel rules

Example ,...  Can a person on a full UK passport leave the uk for a ,say,  28 DAY STAY (+/-) ,return to uk for 10 day (+/-) then return to Spain for a further 28 DAY STAY  .Can this be repeated several times in a calendar year ? or  the 90 day out period still apply ?

Look up 'Schengen rules' rather than Spain, the 90 days is the whole area, you are now stamped in and out and recorded on their computer system.

Hi,If you are talking about just going to Spain and no other European country then yes you can spend 28day here go back for 10 and come out again until you reach the 90 day limit so 3 lots of 28 days = 84 and still gives you a 6 day break elsewhere in the EU. But remember to include your first day and last day in your counting. Personally I look at it as being able to come to Spain 3 times (just over) in the first 6 months of the year then repeat for the next 6 months, kind of 1 month here in Spain and 1 month back in the UK.

Hope this helps?

Hi Anthomo16 ,

Thank good point .It just takes some planing ,a no last minute 'add on trips to Europe '.

We had a plan of a long spring /summer in Spain ,that would push us close to the 90 day limit .

So no Octoberfest trips allowed to be added on /or last minute golf breaks/ city break deal to be had ,unless you check your personal trip checker and calculator

I understand the 90 day limit rule  could be rolling along for several years  before the 90 day ,date hits , reset starts on day 91 ? is this correct . it its not 90 days in 365 day period /annual

So forward planning is key ?
