I had this problem with another company. 

You do not need the hire company’s extra insurance. Buy an annual policy from Insurance4carhire.com for about £40 , and insist on not being sold more at the desk.

I write “ no extra insurance needed “ on the hire documents, and get my husband to take a photo of me holding them at the desk.

Another vote for Helli Hollis. We use them several times a year and never a problem. Seems the one to avoid is Gold Car.

The online reviews are very positive. They do not advertise a 24 hour service. I have emailed them as I will be returning the vehicle at 3am for an early flight home. Hopefully the reply will enable me to make a booking very soon.

No recommendations for allincarhire.com so perhaps I may avoid for now.

We previously used one Co, Centauro, for many hires, all good. However post covid, prices have increased (due to lack of cars) & we've used Firefly, Wiber & Centauro for last 3 hires. Would return to all. Wiber & Centauro off airport with courtesy bus from/to. Works well. We now shop around, as prices vary depending on when we visit.  Not aware of allincarhire, if they came up in searches I must have rejected them for some reason

Not used Malagacar before but my wife has a booking for June. She wanted a small auto & not many Co's were offering these. Good to hear you've had no problem

I have booked a two week hire with Malagacar.com as they can accommodate the 03:00am vehicle return. Open 24hrs. Great forum. I will give update following my experience with Malagacar hire FYI. I won't be around at that time (I work next door) but have a nice holiday :) 

This is so true, that it gets depressing. So much time and effort gets put into supplying information then the person asking just disappears, often posting in different parts of the forum or asking the same thing somewhere else. 

Re malaga car.. it's busy busy. This was the queue today to collect a car!
