Yes I had planned to go out to Estepona in September to have a look at properties however due to the Covid situation this will probably be delayed until April 2021. Its good that you have a friend who is an estate agent to give you some guidance, I tend to look at Rightmove in Spain but haven't got as far as making contact at the moment so not sure of the local process etc.
I live fairly close to London, in Hertfordshire, but both my daughter and sister live in London so I am a frequent visitor.
It is such a big step it would be useful to have someone in the same position who I can bounce questions off, so if you are happy to keep in touch that would be great.

I hope you are well, as I haven't heard from you for a while.
This week I am on holiday but no where to go. Yesterday I went to the West End as I needed to get a few things and today I travelled to Wandsworth shopping centre. Both areas quiet and a few shops closed down in Oxford Street which is a shame, as It's usually busy with tourists this time of year.
Hopefully I will be able to travel to Spain next year to look at some apartments. You don't value your freedom until It's taken away.
