No , I do not think so. It is not so simple as that, believe me. You may be lucky  to get a same day. Test. In Scotland there  is  a 24-48 hrs turn around time.

There is same day testing on covid testing all over the country.the prices are extreme, maybe with Xmas coming on they may have inflated the prices,if so it does not surprise me has I said before I hope it becomes more clearer after Xmas.many thanks joe

Yes I read the same newspaper, what I understand yes countries could go into total lockdown and travel bans, yet you still have to plan ahead for any holidays but if it comes to that I will be disappointed but you have to accept the rules.many thanks for updates joss

Hi

You will be allowed to fly to Spain on 27th December 2020 if flights all still available and are not cancelled at the last minute. If you are returning in January  2021 to UK,you will have to quarantine for 10 days, I believe.

After UK exits the EU on 31/12/2020 &  because of Brexit, all non-essential  Tourist Travel to Spain as from 01/01/2021 will be banned in terms of current EU Covid-19 rules. All 27 EU nations  are party to this agreement. If one EU Country wants to negotiate with UK on Travel in 2021 then it can independently allow Tourists into that particular Country with restrictions, of course.

I have seen some sites saying you cannot go.. Then some saying you can if negative test within 72 hours. Then some saying it has to be for one of 3 essential reasons. I was just confused.. Now feel it is okay if negative pcr test within 72hours. Thanks all.
