Alternative TMA Test instead of Negative PCR Test to enter Spain by Sea or Air - Page 2

Maybe i should of been more clearer,,what I and many others use the ferry from Portsmouth to bilbao/.santander.i am looking for a same day test results yes we can get a pcr test same day results but the costs are extreme.not far off been robbery without the violence.a tma test is much cheaper and if you can get results the same day that would be perfect.alas i and many others that use the ferry to get to Spain are finding it impossible to get a tma test of any type at all in the uk.any help would be appreciated.many thanks joss

My friend has just come back from UK to Spain via Santander. He said he got his PCR Test done at NOMAD.. Appointments are like gold dust at the moment because of Christmas. Spain are relaxing the rules and it can be the other cheaper  TAM   Test now which is easier to get.

Many thanks it looks like we may have to go I get a same day test,the tna. test over in the uk is not possible and believe me and many others have tried to find this test in the uk.could you tell me whereabouts your friend got the test done? Many thanks joss

My friend had the kit sent to them at his  home address and he had to drive to the Clinic which was in Nottingham.

You would of thought a test on the same lines has the tma test would be a available in the uk.just hope it get clearer before we go to Spain.again any information will be welcome.many thanks joss

No further information from my side in Spain. You will  keep on trying various Nomad Locations  in UK.,  near where you  stay or further afield . Just look at the 7 page list to find a location on that link I sent. Sorry, I cannot help you further on this matter.

No , I do not think so. It is not so simple as that, believe me. You may be lucky  to get a same day. Test. In Scotland there  is  a 24-48 hrs turn around time.
