We live in hope.

The EUSSR Dictators may not let Spain make it easier for us.

Well it was the UK that took us out knowing these were the rules that apply to to US, Canada, Australia and any non EU country, I have noticed the EU is trying hard to help us out despite our stupidity by trying to bend the rules for us.

If you believe the EUSSR Dictators are trying to help us you will believe anything.

I believe Spain is trying to help us, but unfortunately Spain will have to obey the EUSSR Dictators diktats.

I wish it was that simple, take the example of someone who stays in October and November 60 days and returns to the UK, they return to Spain for February, go back to the UK for March and return for April and May. This is OK as for any 6 month period that you look at (either October - March or Nov...

...ember to April or December to May) they have not exceeded the 90 day limit. There are a couple of websites that do the calculations for you if you enter the dates that are very useful. I did read that the Spanish authorities were looking at a simple visa system for UK tourists that wanted to stay for longer particularly for those that owned property in Spain.

It’s 90 days in any 180 so if you come for November and December you can only come for another 30 days until 180 days is up from November 1st when you first came

Hi, We too have a property in Spain & interested in when I can stay & for how long. I found this calculator which may be of use https://ec.europa.eu/home-affairs/content/visa-calculator_en

I found this calculator very confusing to use. I find Shengen Visa Info on schengenvisainfo.com much better.

Why should the EU or Spain help us out? England & Wales voted to leave so you now have to live by the same rules 3rd countries do. Sadly Scotland and Ireland were dragged out with you.

It's called democracy.

Why would Spain help us out?

Because Spain wants our money!
