Prepaid bus cards

Confused of Calahonda writes - we use our green top-up bus pass between Calahonda and Fuengirola regularly. But what happens if we want to go to Marbella? I'm told many different things, for example, a card to cover both municipalities will/could/may be introduced - or - one already exists???
So, I get on the M-122 at Fuengirola and want to go to Marbella.......I can use my green card to get to Calahonda, do I then need to have another card or pay cash from Calahonda to Marbella?
