Hi, I have been offered a live in job near Mijas as a holiday villa caretaker which is not going to be full time so will be looking for extra work, is there a demand for a general handyman, painting decorating/ tiling/ gardening/ window cleaning ect in the area?

I know that creating a Spanish garden is the ideal and I'm hoping we shall do just that. But here in our Kent garden I am quite sentimental about our roses and a particular camellia. I THINK both can do well in Spain if planted in the proper conditions.

If we take cuttings in the Autumn and pot them, would the removals company be able to take them for us to Spain next year? Would there be any problems with customs at a UK port or between France and Spain?

I spent weeks knitting these 2 cardigans and am most upset l have lost them.  The parcel has 2 labels on it - one addressed to my sister in France and one with my address on it - Calahonda.  The bus stop is opposite the Supersol and Lidl stores at Los Cipreses, Sitio de Calahonda

We are renting in Mijas for 6 months in the winter with a possibility of moving to the area permanently.Can anyone recommend a good Spanish bank with English speaking staff and website and if it's possible to set up an account from the UK prior to coming over in October.

Our old dad Glyn Jones, 83 has gone missing in Mijas on Sunday and we are at our wit’s end with worry. He has dementia and gets confused. He has a strong Welsh accent, is a bit of a cheeky old bugger and a very kind and funny man. His wife Babs and him have lived in Mijas Pueblo, just opposite the Town hall for 15 years and are well known.

Hi, Can anyone recommend a reputable holiday let management company for mijas/fuengirola area? Its a minefield with so many companies out there and im finding if really hard finding reccommendations or reviews online. Has anyone had good or bad experiences? Any advice, guidance or experience in this area would be most appreciated.
