Hi William.
Unfortunatly NOT William, its 90 x days then 90 x days break then you can go again check it out on google or government web site.
Myself i wouldnt book the full 3 x months the passport control can get funny and if you go over 90 x days they can suspend you from going to Spain/Europe.
You can stay 90 days in any 180-day period within the Schengen area. calculated individually for each of these states. For instance, after a 90-day stay in the Schengen area, the person can immediately travel to Croatia and stay for another 90 days there. The 180-day reference period is not fixed.
Hope this Helps William.

Does anyone know anyone that has been penalised for staying over 90 days in 180 day period?
What happened to them?

If you know anyone who intends overstaying the 90 days please explain to them the possible consequences:

It would be a very big risk.
The question has been answered several times on other forums and had links to certain UK passport holders who have been fined/banned/refused entry but I've never read about anyone serving a prison sentence.

All sounds very draconian.
I have my passport stamped when travelling in and out of Spain.
Do they really have a computer that tracks all the dates a person enters and leaves Spain (Schengen)?
I have never heard of anyone suffering any consequences for overstaying the 90 in 180 days rule.
I have never seen any links for someone who has.
Hence my question

Hi Tebo.
You have got a point there, i think they are trying to frighten us with the schengen rule, however i wouldnt want to chance it just in case they suspend you from entering Europe for 5 x years. thats another thing ah ah
Thanks Tebo

There are no computers to register your in and outs they can only go by the stamps, as for knowing someone that has been penalised it’s all hear say, someone knows someone it’s a matter of taking the risk to see if it’s true or not if it happen to you I guess it’s the only way to find out.
