Hi

My husband and I are interested in buying a holiday home for our semi retirement. A two/,three bed property. We won't be renting it out so does not need to be beach front location but would like to be in an area where there is plenty of life. Also in the winter months is there plenty of restaurants etc open. Generally what is the weather like in the winter months. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all coming to estepona for a month October/November flights booked can't wait. We've  never been  before but looking forward to coming. Stayed in Puerto banus before, visited marbella, san pedro, fuengerola Stayed  in benelmadena, torremolenos and Malaga so not new to costa del sol. We haven't booked  our accommodation yet but plenty about,we're after two bedrooms two bathrooms if anyone has an apartment that we could rent, please  get in touch. Nearer the date I'll hope to find any ex pats for meet ups nights out etc. Let me  introduce ourselves, I'm Dave 59 and retiring in October my wife's Sue ,hope to see you there.btw were from teesside. 

For sale : new fridge, new washing machine, six chairs, wooden tv buffet, shelves, drawer chest, shoe rack, curtain rods and more. You can see all the items in Estepona town..

We are looking to book a week in Estepona To look at property. 

My question is, are there any central hotels? I have looked online and all the hotels advertised seem to be miles outside the centre of Estepona.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Hi, i'm currently looking at buy in Costa Del Sol but was looking at La Cala, CalaHonda and around this area, however I've found the cost of apartments are a bit over my budget so I've decided to look at Estapona. I've found some stunning apartments and you seem to get a lot more for your money in regards to the size of the apartments. I never been to this area so I'm wondering what it's like. It's it a family resort? are there lots of things to do. Any information would be gratefully appreciated.

My husband and I  are very interested in purchasing a property in Estepona.   We have been holidaying in a family apartment in Nueva Andalucia for many years and have enjoyed it very much but as the children are getting older.  I think its not the most ideal place to purchase a new apartment as for the older children in particular it is quite expensive to go out for food or drinks or join a gym.    We love the look of the beaches and the area of estepona and are looking at the area of Seghers (near the N340 towards Sotogrande).   

As we are unable to travel to see the area we would very much appreciate a few of opinions.   We are both Spanish Language lovers.... not very good, but trying hard! and love the culture and the fabulous food.   We are also very much interested in exercise and having things to do everyday.    Supermarkets, Restaurants and the beach close by (in walking distance - 3km max) are essential.   And cycling paths would be a serious bonus.   We haven't considered going further down west towards manilva and sotogrande..... Should we??? Keeping in mind we love so much close by!

We are hoping to move to spain this year we own a property in Estapona we have a 11yr old son who would be going into secondary school this year im looking any information on  good  schools (English speaking ) my head is fried looking iv had one in mind near us but has recently had very bad reviews an also is ther any activities for son to make friends easily any information from anyone who has made the move would be greatly appreciated
