Thank you for your reply and link. We are actually looking for a dog (or two) first and hoping to find a pet shop that actually sells pets as well as all you need once you have one. Something like the pet shop in El Ingenio that is shutting down as we speak.

why not consider a rescue there are many loving dogs abandoned I can find out rescue details from someone if interested

I sure know where you are coming from but we have our hearts set on a certain type of dog. The last dog I had in the UK was a Golden Retriever that lived with me til he had a stroke aged 17, miss him dearly and it has taken a few years before I can finally move on to a new dog

Hi,

You could maybe try the Animal rescue centres in Spain to possibly adopt puppy or dog's from them? Unfortunately there are many abandoned dogs and puppies in Spain.
