I am currently in the process of trying to get my old Range Rover Sport ready for reregistration here in Spain. Unfortunately I have discovered that my right hand drive headlights are not adjustable and cannot be realigned for use on Spanish roads.

Can anyone suggest a breakers yard / spare parts stockists which may stock left hand drive headlights?

Willing to travel around southern Spain to source them as they're essential for the ITV!

Try getting in touch with car registrations Spain they may be able to convert your original lights

I tried to source second hand lights for my BMW and they wanted €1200 eu

Thanks for the response.

I think they won't convert for use in Spain.

I can have them converted to "flat beam" but apparently this is not good enough to meet ITV criteria?

I'll keep looking. Someone must have some somewhere.....

Have you tried speaking directly with your nearest Land Rover dealer/garage? We imported a Porsche Boxster some years ago and the lights could not be changed either so our local Porsche dealer ordered them from Germany. Of course, this is a more expensive option than locating second hand ones but if you need to pass the ITV then it is worth considering.

There are quite a few online stores for car parts throughout Europe that you might want to check if speaking to the dealer isn't an option.

Good luck.

Hi

Near to Malaga airport there is a massive breakers yard on an industrial estate Quad... something it is called, I went there once and they had so much spares fir every car, good chance  they will have a set of secondhand lights for you.

Thanks for that.

I think I have found a company in Romania who can supply (not cheap but much cheaper than sourcing through Land Rover) so will probably have to order online and have them shipped over.

Hi,

Tried there and they had everything but the set I needed!

Still a good place to try if you need more common parts as they do seem to have a lot of stock.
