New Book Club in Velez

Hi! Thank you for your interest!  We as a group vote on a book that we would like to read. Recommendations are always welcome. We meet once a month and discuss and rate the book we have read. In Nerja we always meet at the sane place where we can also drink or snack something. We have one thing in common: we love to read! We read a variety, bestsellers, detectives, biographies etc. Let me know if you would be interested! Great way to meet new people! Patty

Ah ok. So you would read a different book each month and talk about it. Obviously, you would have to buy the book. Are they always newly published books (expensive) or also books that have been out for years? Also, I am away for a couple of months, usually twice a year. Would that be a problem? 

Hi, no problem if you are away part of the year. To keep cost down, most of us have an e-reader, like an Amazon Kindle. Cheaper than buying a book, either just published or older. We read both. Where are you located, here in Velez? At least there are no further costs involved, unless we find a suitable place in town, which will be difficult, probably all too noisy. That is why I am suggesting my place. What kind of book do you like to read? Hope this info helped! Saludos , Patty.
