Useful notes streaming UK TV Spain and IPTV

1. Re- selling others broadcasters copyright material is illegal unless a licence.

2. No such agreements agreements for IPTV have been published for Spain with UK broadcasters, copyright content makes it almost impossible without substantial costs and rights issues.

3. IPTV operators can normally carry FTA channels in their 'own country,' In UK viewers just need  a TV licence.

4. Programme content has global internet geo restrictions due to copyright content. (A VPN can avoid this and show location as your own country, for example UK)

5. Even FTA broadcasters like SKY News or CNN have problems streaming via You Tube, music rights being an example, the reason Sky News or CNN have no commercials on You Tube.

6. There is no ban on individuals using private VPN's and very popular for watching streamed home country content, most broadcasters will however ask for a home country address. (Which I'm sure most can provide)

7. People can use things like Fire Sticks connected to TV HDMI input, plus now Mini PC's are very cheap, below Amazon link PC  'just 100 Euros' with this combined with a 'VPN service' and  HDMI lead blue tooth keyboard, people can load things like BBC iPlayer and other TV links, watch You Tube and also surf the internet for very little money. 'No subscription to an IPTV operator' (You do not need a Smart TV just a TV with HDMI input)  Link https://www.amazon.es/SNUNMU-Celeron-Ordenador-Ethernet-Business/dp/B09FP3GGWS/ref=sr_1_16?__mk_es_ES=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&crid=29YTR0M3R1Q1D&keywords=mini+PC&qid=1683986809&sprefix=mini+pc%2Caps%2C129&sr=8-16&tag=cstareg0f-21

8. Every now and again raids takes place on IPTV operators for pirating and re-selling TV services, to include those who offered bootleg TV with internet packages. See BBC link. https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-47653654

9. People can also buy their own IPTV box and install a VPN link https://surfshark.com/use-cases/vpn-for-iptv

10 Different IPTV boxes available here in Spain ........

(Note a good internet connection and speed essential)
