We’ve had a holiday home in Riviera for around 20yrs and never really been bothered by ants but this year everywhere I look there are ants!
I spray everywhere, leave traps (which I don’t think do anything), it looks like I’m on top of the problem and then they are back again!
Anyone else having this problem, is there a solution or is it something I’ve got to live with?

You need 'Nippon' Ant killer (or equivalent Spain, if is one) it's a powder, the Ants are attracted to it, they think 'yummy food' they carry back to the nest and they all vanish.

I use this powder down on the floor , it’s just very small red pellets that they eat . It seems to do the trick . Good luck

Hi guys. I have a place in Torrenueva, La Cala. I was plagued with Ants, Cockroaches etc. I tried all sorts but was very uncomfortable. I was then told by a friend to get the guys in and they Spray something. It is only once a year and I have not had to worry ever since., bug free home . It is worth it as i have complete peace of mind and it is guaranteed. If you want any info, please just get in touch with me Jean xx

there is a gel you can buy comes in litte seringe you put a couple of drops down they eat it take it back to queen feed her no more ants

We would also recommend Nippon. However we use the gel. You put a blob down & suddenly there are hundreds of ants feeding on it. Like Holaitsdavid said, they then take it back to the nest,share and bingo they all die. You can buy it in Morrisons in Gibraltar but would suggest you ring (00 350 200 41114) & check they have it in stock before making the journey

Was this on the Morrison website as Gibraltar does not nessesarily carry the same stock. Best to ring Gibraltar store & ask

no this was amazon and you can not get it in gib or morrisons
