One of the nearest is Bricorama at the Cancelada exit on the A7. Depending on exactly what you need, you can try La Paz Dos in Calle Padre Cura which is a ferreteria (ironmongers). The best selection is at Leroy Merlin which is the French version of B & Q at the La Cañada shopping centre on the outskirts of Marbella.

David, it really depends on what you need.  The Leroy shop in Los Barrios is difficult if you don't speak any Spanish.  Better to get to the Marbella store.  However, there are Ferreterias (small hardware stores) everywhere.  There is a very large one in the Estepona Industrial area (Ferreteria la Paz Dos).  You might want to take a drive around that area to see what is there but beware that they shut about 1:30pm and reopen at around 4/5 pm (every shop is a bit different).  Hope this helps.

Your best bet is Leroy Merlin in Marbella. Cannot suggest any other companies in Spain as there aren’t any like B & Q  or Homebase. Sorry I can not help you further.
