Can you recommend any good banks?  This is something I also need to look into.  I've been told "Wise" is the company I should use to transfer my pension  (now retired). I would be very grateful for any information.  I hear the bank charges are extortionate.

... six months before.   As for the "VISA" I havn't heard a thing!!!  Its so frustrating.  I was told I would hear within 4 - 6 weeks (it will be 8 weeks tomorrow)

Can't do anything, can't plan anything.  I also have a small dog I will be bringing with me and that's been a nightmare trying to sort him.

It's my birthday on Friday may be I might here something then.  I am constantly looking at my emails and nothing.  I can honestly say its been a roller coaster.  I tried to do this 18 months ago but after speaking to an immigration lawyer in Spain he said I wouldn't qualify.   After Brexit I don't think anybody knew what was actually required.  I had sold my house  the UK and then took it back off the market.

After speaking to "My Lawyer " in Spain (a company I spoke to at the NEC) they advised that the information I had been given was incorrect and I did qualify.  So I decided to sell my house in June last year and exchanged contracts a few months later.

I'm already to go.  Some of my belongings are in storage and i am living temporary with my niece and her partner.  

Its hard work when you are trying to do this by yourself.  

Hopefully, I will hear something soon!  I will let you know.
