Where can I obtain a Tarjeta Dorada

Fuengirola station no longer has a ticket office. Some reports say I need a passport photo and it takes 10 days to get the card. Others don't mention this. I did obtain one about 5 years ago, just by presenting my passport at Fuengirola.

We went to Benalmadena today, office closed. Opens at 2pm we were told. Went back, still closed. Told opens 2.30. Went back. Machine broken, come back in 1hr. Office closed! Man inside said 'not today'.

Lady who had the card showed us and it had a photo on it. Do we need to bring passport photo? we asked. Not today he replied and walked off.

Don't feel like giving Renfe any of our money.  Rude, unhelpful staff. Waste of 4hrs in Benalmadena
