I am looking for some suggestions re moving items from the UK to Spain.  Nothing big, no furniture etc.....smaller personal items.  Did anyone do this and who did they use?

Hi Everyone,

Has any UK citizens applied for a Non Lucrative Visa for Spain and been successful?

My questions are around the medical healthcare cover and my address in Spain.  We are hoping to move in January 2022 and we have been given a list of documents that we need to take to our appointment at the Spanish Embassy however we won't have medical cover until we arrive and we know that we have been successful in the visa application.  The same for our address.  Once we know that we have been successful then we will look for somewhere to rent.  I am trying to avoid paying for medical insurance and rent when we are still in the UK and if we don't know that our application has been successful.

Where can I dispose of an old mattress we have acquired from our new prop in el faro

Looking for a recommendation of a builder to start work in sept if possible .  

Redecorate flat completely. Fit new bi folding doors , fit 2 new bathrooms and tile , fir new kitchen 

Create lounge open plan kitchen .  Completion is the first week of September, looking for a quality reliable tradesman to carry out the work .

Hi, I’m just wondering does anyone know what way it works when for eg, a rental costs €1000 per month. What then is generally the total cost when the cost involves one month agency fees and two months deposit ? I’m thinking strongly about a month in September but worried about how much all this adds up to. This Is the first time I’m doing this and don’t know much about how it all works. Thank you. 

We are renting a villa next year in El Faro and we’re trying to find out what shops will be nearby for essential items.

Also, how easy is it to cross the coast road to get to the beach?
