Hi, I’m just wondering does anyone know what way it works when for eg, a rental costs €1000 per month. What then is generally the total cost when the cost involves one month agency fees and two months deposit ? I’m thinking strongly about a month in September but worried about how much all this adds up to. This Is the first time I’m doing this and don’t know much about how it all works. Thank you.

Nerja Buy Swap Sell Facebook page generally has adverts for vacation all homes. I would think the 2 month deposit would only apply to let’s of 6 months & longer. Good luck.

For only one month the price they quote you should be inclusive of electric, water, internet.  There should be no deposits that are not refundable.  Just read the small print in anything you agree to.  Ask them to clarify exactly what is NOT included that you might need.

Over and above the fee they charge you should really only need food and transport.  But check the small print to cover yourself.  Ask them the questions directly and never assume.  Good luck and enjoy - September is a good month.

Hi Kerri,

Thank you for that advice. I will look more closely at the small print and great advice to ask about what is not included!

I appreciate you taking the time to answer.

Thanks again.  MEL B

Please try and record the questions asked and answered and keep even after you returned home. We rented and lost monies because they told us fibs and said they informed us but hadn’t. Just record it for your self doesn’t matter if in English or Spanish. As above person said you can never assume in Spain NEVER  .. always ask.

Try Future homes  or marina bay properties Estepona.
