Very expensive to buy, so try 2 calor gas heaters, costs about £5 a week depending on how often you use them. We only use ours at night

Thank you Kevin, we have one calor gas heater, we might just have to buy another. As you say a log burner would be very expensive. We only spend the maximum days away from the UK at present. If we move over completely to Spain we might have to rethink.

No problem. We moved here 3 years ago and our calor gas heater does the job. We replace it every 2 or 3 weeks, so it is about £4 per week to run
