Hi Tim

Check Casares Green on Airbnb?

I personally don't know any rentals available on this new development but know that those that do rent out use this service.

Weather fantastic, 23 to 28, partly cloudy with sunny blue skies!  Good luck.

Seeing the lack of mask wearing in the UK and the horrible amount of cases, the Spanish have it sussed.

Clear Spanish much more sensible than UK with masks, cases there rising very fast now.

BBC say below .....

UK residents were significantly more likely than people in Germany, France, 'Spain and Italy to say they no longer wear a face mask or covering

Watched a couple walk into the supermarket yesturday, No mask. When asked to put one on one replied We don’t have any as don’t need them in our country. Really bad manners and no care for either the country they are visiting or the local people.

I totally agree that those who walked into a supermarket with no masks should have been escorted out,,no ifs no buts out! However, I don't agree with tworowans as there are many people myself included who do wear masks when out and even when I go into a cafe/restaurant I don't remove it until my food comes, I also make sure that I am the recommended social distance apart, This isn't because I am being "fussy" it is because I have COPD have unfortunately had Covid and been left with long covid and badly scarred lungs, so please, before any sarcasm - think!!!

Hi everyone seeing I started this thread I thought I should add a comment. We were hoping to have a couple of weeks in the sun with no masks it now seems this will not be the case. If you are coming to spain to enjoy the fresh air and sun you don't want to wear a mask.

So it is with a heavy heart to say our trip to Csares is off.I also am surprised that the spanish GOV,have not banned the brits from travelling given the high numbers at the moment Such a nice forum and such nice people I am so glad your covid numbers are going down and you can all get back to some normality as for me I shall be spending a cold and wet  winter in in blighty.

Wishing you all good health.

"We were hoping to have a couple of weeks in the sun with no masks it now seems this will not be the case"

You will be fine in 'open spaces', the rules are below, now talk will remain this way until Spring, the Government also worried about winter spread of flu, all seems wise to me, 'most people on the sea front are not wearing them'. Remember it's mainly about protecting of other people, however, if you want a no mask Zone, 'it's not Spain' Covid cases now a fraction of UK you should be pleased much safer here than UK.

Rules...

26-06-2021 Wearing a facemasks is 'NOT mandatory outdoors in Spain', only when 1.5m social distance can not be guaranteed. 'People must carry a mask at all times in case it is required'; in anticipation of outdoor crowds or when going indoors such as shops, offices, and public transport. Facemasks are still obligatory for large outdoor events such as concerts, demonstrations, and sporting events. Andalucía still recommends the wearing of masks outdoors but it in not an obligation.
