Just wondering why you are so worried about sitting next to unvaccinated people. Im not saying im always right but the media isn't always right either.

You can still spread and catch from vaccinated people.

Reason why people got it was to help hospitals as they wouldn't get ill and take up a bed. Well that's not true as both are taking up beds (depends on what channel or paper you read)

You don't catch it worse or catch it easier if someone isn't vaccinated.

Hope you have a good year.

Much love x

What impact is all this having?

There’s no doubt that the unvaccinated are making the pandemic considerably worse. The ONS found that the Covid death rate in England among people who had a second jab was 96% lower than in those who were unvaccinated between January and October last year.

At present, the risk of hospitalisation from the Omicron variant is 90% lower for those who have received a booster shot. Conversely, the UK Health Security Agency estimates that unvaccinated adults are around eight times more likely to be admitted to hospital than those who have been jabbed.

The latest figures show that unvaccinated patients accounted for 61% of the patients admitted to critical care with Covid-19 in the UK in December, though they make up only 10% of the population. Obviously these cases add greatly to the pressure on the NHS. It’s also clear now that though vaccinated people do contract and spread Covid, unvaccinated people do so at higher rates.

I think this link says it all ...

From the dailymail though. All complete lies. Sorry not trying to have a debate. I can post articles as well saying not true but don't have the energy. My original comment was about unvaccinated sitting next to a vaccinated person nothing to di with hospitals. I know the numbers are false. That's my opinion and I respect yours x

Also unvaccinated means people who haven't had the booster. So you can have both and be classed as unvaccinated. Anyways much love.

Hope your year goes well ✌️🍀

"A paper owned by the government"

Really that's news to me, fully vaccinated for majority of countries means two shots.

Austria announced in late December that all tourists must now show proof of a booster dose. The Netherlands is set to follow suit from 1 February, when it will also be shortening passport validity to nine months.

True sometimes experts get things wrong, however, for the most they get it right. buildings & bridges stand up, planes fly & medics round the world save lives every day. The vaccines are not perfect, but have saved many lives, I'm sure many people who have lost loved ones wish the vaccine had been available in the early stages of the Covid pandemic.
