We own a property in Frigiliana and would like to visit but have not had a vaccine.

Does anyone know how the law stands at the moment in this regard

Thanks

Under the Spanish government’s current measures, you can only enter Spain from the UK for tourism purposes if you can show proof of being fully vaccinated with both doses of a two-dose vaccine or one dose of a one-dose vaccine authorised by the European Medicines Agency or by the World Health Organisation at least 14 days prior to arrival in Spain.

David has given the answer already but here's another link: https://www.which.co.uk/news/2021/12/can-i-travel-to-spain-from-uk/

You need to be jabbed and probably for the foreseeable future...

Just curious. Is it not different for Juliet if she owns her property?  She could be travelling for business purposes relating to her property?  Just asking as it does stipulate ‘for tourism’ so can we assume if you have some kind of business purpose it would be allowed?

I'm sure that will not work, read the whole article.

It would make sense as I need to prepare my property for summer rental

It's very clear - 'If you are unvaccinated, or not yet fully vaccinated, you will not be able to enter Spain. It was previously possible to enter using a negative Covid-19 test, but from 1 December that will no longer be the case'.

Yes, as the others have mentioned, you need to be vaccinated. At least Spain accepts the 1/1 dosage, we had trouble getting back to UK because they do not accept it.

Actually it isn’t always that clear. I have seen some articles refer to the requirements for ‘tourism’ but as Juliet is going over to prepare her holiday rental she is actually on business. There are exceptions to the rule, I have researched further. But sadly for Juliet nothing that will help her.

The articles do say the rules relate to people arriving at airports and ports though. So what if someone drives down to Spain?  Although probably France would then become the problem area I suppose?  I have heard on another forum that the rules are being reviewed at the end of January. So there may be hope for Juliet yet.

Hi Guys full vaccination required. However I travelled on Business without vaccination but had a letter from my Contractor in Madrid. I’m sure if you guys had something similar from your property management people it may work.
