Hi Guys full vaccination required. However I travelled on Business without vaccination but had a letter from my Contractor in Madrid. I’m sure if you guys had something similar from your property management people it may work.

Thanks Sundancer but I suspect you may well be a very well qualified worker, and that is one of the exceptions mentioned. I don’t think sorting a holiday rental would be a good enough reason sadly.

I know others are trying to be helpful; however the only answer I would give is that there is a good reason for the rules, and it is to reduce the risk of infecting others.

I don’t want to be flying out to Spain sitting next to an unvaccinated person, even if they have a valid reason for not taking it.

I am sorry to be blunt, but we all have choices, and in this case the choice is to get vaccinated or stay at home.

I agree, unless people have a very good medical reason not to be vaccinated, they should not be allowed to put the rest of us at risk.

I see the hospitals are busy with the non-vaccinated at the moment.

I often wonder if the anti-vax group had vaccinations before?

Out of interest I looked it up, I wonder which of these vaccinations have been refused by the ant-vaxers:

The UK Immunisation Schedule6-in-1 vaccine: first dose

Rotavirus vaccine: first dose

MenB vaccine: first dose

3 months (12 weeks)6-in-1 vaccine: second dose

Rotavirus vaccine: second dose

Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV): first dose4 months (16 weeks) 6-in-1 vaccine: third dose

MenB vaccine: second dose

12 to 13 months  Hib/MenC vaccine

MMR vaccine: first dose

PCV booster

MenB booster

2 years up to school year 11  Nasal flu vaccine (2020-21 season)3 years and 4 months  MMR booster

Pre-school booster (4-in-1 vaccine)

Teenage  HPV vaccine (12-13 year old boys and girls)

Teenage booster

MenACWY vaccine

AdultOlder adults and risk groups:

Inactivated flu vaccine

Shingles vaccine

Pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine (PPV)

Pregnant women:

We own a property in Frigiliana and would like to visit but have not had a vaccine.

Does anyone know how the law stands at the moment in this regard

Thanks

Unless you have a very good medical reason not to have the vaccination, get vaccinated!

I had two vaccinations in Spain and the booster in the Uk with absolutely no side effects.

Do you not perhaps think that we are going just a little off topic now. The lady asked a question and that has been answered to the best of people's ability. Whilst we will all have personal opinions regarding vaccination it is still for an individual to decide what is right for them and not for others to force their beliefs onto others. You have no idea if the OP is anti-vax or not, nor is it our business. Let's welcome participation in this forum from newcomers, not chastise them because they may think differently to you.

We'll agree to disagree then, I think it IS my business if I might be put at risk by an antivaxxer travelling beside me and as for chastising someone on the forum, is that not what you just did?

Not at all....I am not chastising anyone, I am simply suggesting that we stay on topic and remain welcoming to new members. The subject in this case is always going to be contentious.

Well said Andy P. Time to close this subject down. The people never even said they were anti vaxxers, just looking for advice.
