May I bring some UK plants when we relocate?

I know that creating a Spanish garden is the ideal and I'm hoping we shall do just that. But here in our Kent garden I am quite sentimental about our roses and a particular camellia. I THINK both can do well in Spain if planted in the proper conditions.

If we take cuttings in the Autumn and pot them, would the removals company be able to take them for us to Spain next year? Would there be any problems with customs at a UK port or between France and Spain?

Many thanks for your help.

Very understandable attachments to these plants.

I have 2 suggestions: My experience of driving back to UK every year is that there is no point at which I would be 'required to declare' the contents of my vehicle. Second, ask a couple of removal companies if they would accept the plants for transit.

Good luck.
