We are due to travel through France and Spain in February, and stay in La Cala for a fortnight.Firstly, we’re not sure if this is allowed, and secondly, are there many places still open in La Cala, and is it deemed safe to travel there?

Hi I live in France and was due to drive down there to duquesa next week unfortunatelycannot border from Franceto Spain closed and we are on a 4 week lockdownwith a review after two weeks so canot foresee us getting down there before Dec 5th at least .We cannot travel more than 100kms from place of residency and have to have an attestaion form in car when going shopping. During the previous lockdown we got stopped twice to show our attestation forms also had to open boot of arts show shopping!!STAY SAFE 😷😷😷😷😷

Hi Dianne Many thanks for your reply. We we’re planning to come from uk, via the Chunnel, we got the ferry last year, with our dog, Portsmouth to Santander, never again it was horrendous!!

I think we’ll just have to wait until a Feb, I can cancel accommodation up till the week before with a full refund...what a nightmare!! Where in France do you live? Stay safe Rosie 👍
