Hi Wendy, Swirley and Grace
I have travelled a couple of times, in both directions, during July and August.
All the additional paperwork is rather daunting on your first flight and I understand that it is nice to have a piece of paper in your hand, however, you do not need this on paper.
The www.gov.uk website is very mobile phone friendly and I have completed passenger locator forms at Malaga Airport after passing through security and waiting in the departure lounge for the boarding gate to be identified.
Once the passenger locator form has been completed you can download it and save it on your mobile although you will also have to save it somewhere you can find it!
There also is an option to have the passenger locator form emailed to you, which is almost instant, and you can then click on your email produce this on your mobile whilst queuing at the boarding gate.
When queuing at the boarding gate, a roving airline agent should ask you to produce:
1. Certificate of negative Covid-19 test (PDF on mobile or printed on paper)
2. Certificate of vaccination (PDF from NHS app on mobile or printed on paper)
3. Passenger locator form (PDF from www.Gov.uk website on mobile or printed on paper)
At the boarding gate you will have to produce your boarding card and passport as always.
By the way, on your return to the UK you can expect to be pinged by NHS Test and Trace to say that you came into contact with someone who was infected because 1 in 35 people (about 5 passengers per flight) returning from Spain are Covid-19 positive. It has now occurred to us on both trips!
Hope all goes well!
Philip
