There's a couple of indications above, mine & another. Price you pay for your property not directly related to cas value & tax. Our NRT was less than €350 in total for my wife &I on a lower value house. Maybe yours around €500

I believe the non resident tax in that amount is about 90 euro. I don't know what the council tax would be as it varies region to region but it is a lot lower than the UK, like most things! Our buying lawyer set up direct debits on everything for us, council tax, rubbish tax, electric, water, so we've never had a problem in 20 years, I also set up a direct debit for my car tax. I pay my non resident tax by seeing my lawyer every year. A gestor or lawyer will do the return for 30 or 35 euro
