What to bring when relocating?

After 25 years as British expats in Australia, my husband Richard & I are about to return nearer to our roots and family.

We expect to be in Estepona area by about April to start looking for an apartment to buy for our retirement. It would be really helpful if anyone could advise us as to what we should bring with us in the  way of household goods, small appliances, kitchen ware, bedding? We would need to buy furniture new/secondhand. We are having to decide what to keep, what to sell, what to ship to Spain.

We look forward very much to making new friends. and being active in the community. I am hoping this forum will be a good link for us to get established.
