Hi all,

Looking forward to moving out and becoming an expat next year all being well with the pandemic. My self and my husband , plus two cats. I also wanted to bring some furnishings with me plus bikes and tools, but not sure whether it is worth the trouble of shipment. Could anyone advise me what the best option would be, and the best way to bring my cats. Thanks.

My wife and I moved from the UK to Ibiza, Spain in 2011, and now we're looking to relocate in Estepona.

The one point I'd like to make, is that we put most of our "stuff" into storage while we looked for property in Ibiza. Having studied the Ibiza property market extensively online prior to relocating, and having undertaken a week along trip a few months beforehand identifying the areas we preferred, we arrived imagining it would take1/2/3 months to purchase our ideal property.

For a variety of reasons, it took 14 months. The result was that storage cost us a fortune and we could have bought many of our "things", brand new and without the cost of transporting them from the UK to Spain, at a much lower cost.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply it's much appreciated, we have already purchased a property so our things don't need to be stored,

I'm not bringing a full house but some things probably a Luton van full of stuff, I'm not sure how much it will cost and if there's a removal firm that can be recommended.

                                   Thanks jax
