Help hiring a car without huge budget

Hi I'm visiting estepona in August with my family and really need to hire a car but they are so expensive and esp with the added insurance and extras is there any advice or help please

I would only add that you should check on who you use and where you plan to travel. They don't all cover you if you go outside the country for example - to Portugal. I almost got caught on that one once so be sure of their area coverage.

Hi,

I always found the airport to be cheapest using doyouspain.com. I mostly avoided the off site ones as some are dodgy. Buy yourself a separate insurance policy to cover the excess. There are a number available on the internet. I use iCarhireinsurance.com.

Purple Cars may help. ALso take out a separate insurance in UK for £38 per annum to cover you. insurance4carhire.com is the link. Used them for the past 4 years. When you hire a car you just tell them you have your own insurance and then the extras are not added on just the basic.
