Hi, we are currently trying to purchase in the beautiful Monte Duquesa after coming to Duquesa for many years.  Our solicitor has informed us that this is part of a larger Macro community but has not given us a lot of details on this as yet apart from it have never been active but could cost us money in the future.  Can any owners in the Duquesa area shed any light on this for us.  Thanks

I don't know if this is relevant or not, but I too was enquiring about a bank repossession and asked the "castaral fiscal value"  this will be different to what is on the agents sheet and if you purchase you will have to pay a percentage  of the total to bring it in line with other properties. i.e. your bank repo is 120.000 but the actual castaral value of similar properties is 198.000 then you would pay a percentage of the difference between the 2.

Yes, you must pay tax on the difference (as stated, from the bank repossession sale price and that of the market price).  From what I understand you can do that when you purchase the property or when you sell it but please get advice from a qualified and knowledgeable lawyer to ensure you do not come unstuck later.
