We bought an apartment in Mijas. I’d recommend Manzares solicitors in Marbella. we were a bitnervous about the whole thing - quite apprehensive about what we were getting ourselves into. It’s daunting. However they were always helpful, knew what they were doing and made everything easy. Our purchase went smoothly. All we had to do was sign and pay basically.

We have used this company for 7 years and they are so helpful. They are in Marbella (reasonable costs though) but once you communicate or visit once they do everything by email. They have even visited our bank when they froze our account due to new passports and we were in the UK.

We generally communicate with Noelia there, very helpful. The have an iffixe which us reassuring as when we bought there are some lawyers/solicitors who wirk remotely which we didn't feel conformable with.

Hi I used a law firm called Gibro Abogados who are Spanish but speak and write very good English, also they are based in Duquesa near the marina and they sorted all the paperwork and legalities for my apartment purchase in Duquesa 18 months ago. 

I am also thinking of moving out there in 18 months time and will use there services to get my non-lucrative visa as they were very professional. Be prepared though to fill out a lot of forms for your purchase as they like their paperwork out there and it all takes a long time. Good luck with your purchase and move.
