Furniture upholstery

Hi we have a holiday apartment in Duquesa and the sofa bed ( which is faux leather) has started peeling in a couple of places. Does anyone know a company who dies furniture upholstery. I did get referred to a lady but she said it would be that expensive we were better to buy a new one as faux leather is not recommended in Spain. Apparently, it does split and peel with the heat.

It cost quite a lot of money and is a double bed also.

Hi Tracy, I'm having the same problem with my dinning chairs. They have just started to crack and flake. I think it might help to put a leather conditioner or similar moisturiser on to slow down the cracking. For the bits that have flaked off I got some acrylic paint from the chinese shop and mixed a few colours to get a reasonable match then painted the hole so it is much less obvious. Unfortunately faux leather doesnt last long and I wont buy again. I hope to get another year or two from them and then buy new chairs.

Thank you for responding. It is a very large area so I don't think that painting it will help. I have put a throw over it which hudes it for the time being but I have been told thst in Spain faux leather us nit the best option due to heat etc..

I will let you know if I find a person to cover it
