On point about this, Rapid Tests can be done in the Airport with the result in 20 minutes, do they not stay open over Christmas?

You can take a test with you. Do it abroad and get your fit to fly certificate. Chromonics is one company that does this

I thought Brits were not welcome to enter Spain at the moment due to the new variant?
I don't understand the worry of testing days, has Malaga airport stopped testing?
