Most of the plumbers around Manilva, Casares and Estepona do not seem interested in servicing a 3 years old electric water heater, purchased by a local plumber (now in the UK) from Leroy Merlin.  They want to sell me a new one.  Does anyone here know anyone who still offers service. Or anyone know of a plumbing store in Poligino where they service?  Any thoughts please as the reset button is now stuck and no more hot water.

Reset button stuck does not sound good, could be the heating element.

Thanks David.  That was kind of you to search for the contact.  Not many plumbers around are there?  Obviously a need for someone who wants to settle in Spain or advise their children of a career to get into!!  :)

Best of luck, I hope you get sorted, I still have Butane gas water heating, which has run perfectly for many years. (I just changed the regulator on the bottle top which is interesting, 'the change date on the pipe not the valve', the modern pipes are super plastic maybe good for 100 years at least, but the actual valve only for 5-10. Because the date on the pipe not the valve I note many Spanish change the plastic pipe with the date on and not the valve which is the critical part, which can leak & also make the bottle sweat when diaphragm weakens)

One problem Spain is not enough electric power to most homes, a really good electric water heater uses a lot of power, the reason never changed, also right now priced capped government, so cheap water heating.
