Good day

Having recently moved, I'm looking for the process to change the address on my permanent TIE card.  I would appreciate guidance on how to do this.  I have a Cl@ve so have been able to change address with SS, tax, DGT etc.  but struggling to understand the process for TIE.

Thanks for reading

Sylvia

Love to hear the answer to this.  We have 2 different answers

1. Wait until renewal

2.  Make an appt at the police station that handles TIAs

We did try to update at the oficina del extranjeros but were told to wait til expiry!

Hi, I’m going to have to do this soon. You need to find your nearest Extranjero office and make an appointment. You will have to take proof of your new address and possibly Padron. Fill out a form and have your fingerprint taken and no doubt a fee to pay.

Good luck

Thanks for  your response June.

As this is a permanent TIE not the 5 year one, it doesn't expire.  Otherwise I thiink I would have taken this route.

Thanks for your response.

I'm not sure if their is an extranjero office in Casares Costa.  Can you tell me what the form name is or where to download it or even a website that gives details for this area.

Happy to share my experience when I've successfully finished

Sylvia
