me and my husband are currently buying a property in calahonda we won’t be living full time there for a few years but do plan to come over as frequently as we can especially in winter and autumn. Can anyone recommend a bar where locals go as we would really like to get to meet people and develop a social life here x we are both early fifties and enjoy meeting new people x

Scandals is a friendly bar ex pats bar . you could also join the Costa women's group and ladies of Spain..both meet once a month..the Costa women's group also has a buddy scheme.. I have made friends and received lot's of priceless information.. there is also the la naranja club.. it's a really good ex pats club..you will find lots of things to do.. they also do coach trips..
