Hello can anyone help,when on checking my metformin 500 mg slow release tablets I had left,realised I was going to be 16 days short before my return to the uk.i have tried to get them over here but have been told they do not do slow release metaformin in Spain which I find very odd.can anyone out there please advise me ,what can I do to solve this problem.many thanks joe

Metformin tablets are 850mg. in Spain and you can get them over the counter @ €1.48 per box. There is no problem taking 850mg vs 500mg as I am prescribed same and my doctor says it is not a problem. Nestares in Fuengirola near bus station can supply as I got them there several times. If you pharmacy have no English then as for Metformina Sandoz 850. Best of Luck.
