Calahonda vs Riviera del Sol vs La Cala de Mijas
Hi everyone - I am new to this forum and looking for opinions and thoughts on the following areas that I am considering buying a vacation rental in Calahonda / Riviera del Sol / La Cala de Mijas.
I am looking for a 2 or 3 bed apartment that I can stay in when I have time off and can rent out the rest of the time on short term lets / airbnb. I would only stay in it one a year for a month or so.
How do the areas differ in terms of property purchasing prices?
Are the areas loud (I am not a night club kind of person!)
Do they have more towards Spanish residents or expat communities?
Are these areas that are easily rentable on the short term let market? (rental income is not that leading factor in buying the property)
What is more rentable 2 or 3 bed properties?
Are there any running / triathlon community clubs in the area / nearby areas?
My plan would be to visit the areas and check them out before buying but just wanted to get the community's opinions about them
